Unit 6: Media Campaigns D

Evaluation of own media campaign

For my media campaign I decided to do it based on The Emoji Movie, but I built the whole campaign around making a sequel because I felt that it would be better to do a media campaign about something that already existed because I could get lots of research to help explain the points I was making. I also chose to do The Emoji Movie as a campaign because I thought it would be fun to write the article about the different awards they won (Razzises) and how they can fix the issues that a lot of people had with the first movie and who they can different for the second one.

Another reason why I chose to make my campaign about The Emoji Movie is because it's recent so it's fresh in the minds of the audience which will help me because the people that liked the first movie will be looking forward to the second.

For the design of my website that I created for this campaign was a bit hard to do because I looked through many different websites to see which one would be better and after looking I decided to choose Wix. That was because they have an built in website creator that you can use for free to create a website, this was still hard to do because I haven't created a website before but after a while I got used to it.













For the social media aspect it was difficult to think of things to do for it because I didn't have many ideas for what it would look like or how it would be viewed as far as social media pages go and how they are presented. The social media would need to be released at least 6 months before the rest of of the media because it will give fans plenty of time to get an understanding of what the movie will be about.










 The work on the side is the posters that will be used for my media campaign, I have created them in such a way that the audience would be able to recognise the font and also be able to recognise the movie just by looking at the logo. The way how my media links together is by the use of the images on my posters and the fonts that are used, this is done to help create a understanding for my audience so they know what the product and movie is about.


All of my media will have separate release dates, for example the social media will release about 6 or 7 months before everything else, then the posters will be released a few months before the movie is out so the audience can get a better understanding of what the movie will be about. After the social media and posters are made then the website will be made so people can browse through and get more information on my campaign and how it fits together.





















This is the flat-plan for the website design for my media campaign, this is the design that I'll use to set out my website.







This first screenshot shows how many people liked my campaign about The Emoji Movie 2, this shows me that half the people that filled out my questionnaire liked my whole campaign.

This second screenshot shows how many people thought my campaign worked well for getting the audience interested in The Emoji Movie 2, this also shows that half the people that filled this out thought my campaign worked well.
For this part of the questionnaire I asked people what they thought I did well for my campaign the best part of this was knowing that I did the article well and wouldn't need to change much about the way that they're written.

For this section of the questionnaire I asked what parts of my media campaign that could be improved and it was mostly the posters and social media that need improving.
